Have you completed an MHP/MassHousing/CHAPA certified home buying workshop series?
Have you saved money for a down payment and closing costs?
Have you checked your credit recently and do you have a credit score of at least 620?
Have you been pre-approved for a mortgage?
Hopefully, you have answered "yes" to all of these questions. Now would be a good time to contact the regional agency in the area that you would like to live in and meet with them to discuss the Homes for Good program. They will assist you with your application for the Ready Buyers list, the surest way to for you to find out about available, affordable homes that are on the program.
